Tool Roll

I made a simple tool roll out of some nice green canvas, to hold files and hammers.

First I laid out the tools to get a rough idea of the size.

Next I did some measuring and cut the piece to length. I then ironed, folded, and pinned it in place to prepare for sewing.

Then I let loose on my Singer Featherweight.

I did the pocket like a pillowcase: sewing it closed before folding it inside out. Then I put a simple hem on the sides and top.

Finally I test fit the tools and sewed the pouch into distinct pockets.

Not perfect, but a quick fun project!
